About the Podcast
Masculine Birth Ritual was a podcast created in 2018-2019 to expand representations of masculine-of-center people making, birthing, and caring for humans.
Through in-depth conversations with birth parents, queer and trans birthworkers, spiritual leaders, and writers, the podcast turns gender, masculinity, pregnancy, and parenting around with curiosity. Through these conversations, we hope storytelling and education will support queer and trans parents and people trying to conceive. The conversations - now out in the world - are also being used as a resource for people who don't have this experience to understand a little more about those of us who do.
